Hadley resident Ken Johnsen has been iceboating since 1978. The82-year-old, who as recently as 2004 competed in the iceboatingNorth American Championship, spends time sailing around GreatSacandaga Lake with friends and family, when the ice permits.Johnsen says speed is "a great thrill."
